Our rigorous metal pre-treatment processes include: 

• Mechanical Preparation— We utilize various metal etching methods to enhance adhesion prior to chemical application.
• Chemical Pre-Treatment—   Our AAMA approved Ceramic Hybrid Pretreatment, chemically etches aluminum and steel which offers excellent corrosion protection and paint adhesion, adding longevity and UV-resistance.
• 4 Stage Washing System — Our washing systems ensures a contaminant free, natural oxide removal system while simultaneously passivating the surface, making the surface ready for powder coating and liquid paint application. 
• High Temperature Burn Off — At an excess of 400 degrees Fahrenheit, impurities on the metal are burned off to ensure a sterile surface prior to paint application.
• Application — Prior to application, all solvents are pre-tested, audited and analyzed to ensure consistent quality control and a precise, desired outcome.

Iconic Coatings specializes in architectural metal coatings, which includes powder coating and Kynar 500® PVDF for sustainable, weather and corrosion-resistant finishes.
